48 ft. EMPU Price Changes

Over the years, the 53' container has become the preferred piece of equipment
in most locations. With lower demand and a scheduled retirement rate for the
48' EMPU container, Union Pacific will make the following changes effective
May 14, 2007:

Outbound from Los Angeles, City of Industry, ICTF, LATC and San Diego to all
points:
- 48' EMPU FAK rates will be equalized to the 53' EMHU FAK level
- All 48' special pricing will be cancelled.

Outbound from Chicago (ChicanUP and Global3) to Denver, CO:
- 48' EMPU rates from ChicanUP, IL and Global 3, IL will increase $75
- All 48' special pricing will be cancelled.
